Xenos Privacy Policy

LAST UPDATED: JUNE 13, 2026

Privacy practices for Xenos by Ghost Signal Studio.

Independent Application. Ghost Signal Studio and Xenos are independent from Microsoft Corporation, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass. Xenos is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Microsoft Corporation, Xbox, or Xbox Game Pass. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Information We Collect

Xenos may process information needed to operate the app, including app settings, streaming configuration, controller preferences, virtual gamepad layouts, authentication session information, diagnostic information, and streaming performance data.

The exact information processed may depend on your device, app settings, streaming session, connected controller, network environment, and the services or devices you choose to connect to.

Authentication and Credential Handling

Some Xenos features may require authentication with a supported third-party service.

Xenos does not collect or store your account password. Sign-in should happen through the official authentication flow for the service you are connecting to. Xenos may receive temporary authentication tokens required to support the remote play or streaming connection.

Never enter your credentials into anything that does not look like the official sign-in page for the service you are using.

Local Data Storage

Xenos stores app configuration data locally on your device. This may include app settings, streaming configuration, controller preferences, virtual gamepad layouts, and other local preferences used to operate the app.

Local data remains on your device unless it is needed for a feature you choose to use, such as starting a streaming session, sending controller input during remote play, or submitting diagnostic information for support.

Diagnostics, Analytics, and Performance Data

Xenos may use Firebase services, including Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, to understand app usage, diagnose issues, measure feature performance, improve stream health, and optimize app stability.

This may include information such as app interactions, session activity, device model, Android version, app version, crash or stability signals, connection state, network latency, frame drops, rendering performance, and other technical metrics related to app stability and streaming quality.

Xenos does not use analytics or crash data for advertising.

Controller, Sensor, and Streaming Data

Xenos may process controller input, virtual gamepad input, supported device sensor input, and streaming-session data to operate the app.

Controller and input data may be transmitted to the service or device you are connected to when required for a remote play or streaming session. Xenos does not sell controller input, sensor input, or streaming-session data.

How We Use Information

Data Sharing

Xenos does not sell user data.

Xenos may share or transmit information only when needed to operate the app, provide a feature you choose to use, process authentication, connect to a remote play or streaming session, diagnose technical issues, comply with legal obligations, or communicate with services you connect to.

Third-party services you authenticate with or connect to may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

Data Retention and Deletion

Xenos does not currently create a separate Ghost Signal Studio account.

Most Xenos configuration data is stored locally on your device. You can delete local Xenos data at any time by clearing the app’s storage through Android settings or uninstalling the app.

If you authenticated with a third-party service, you may revoke Xenos access through that service’s account security, privacy, or connected apps settings.

If you submitted diagnostic information or contacted support, Ghost Signal Studio may retain that information as needed to respond to your request, debug issues, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, or improve the app.

For privacy or data deletion questions, contact Ghost Signal Studio at support@ghostsignalstudio.dev.

Children’s Privacy

Xenos is not directed to children under 13. Ghost Signal Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Xenos, contact Ghost Signal Studio so the issue can be reviewed.

Security

Ghost Signal Studio uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Xenos. However, no app, network, device, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for keeping their devices, accounts, networks, and sign-in credentials secure.

Changes to This Policy

Ghost Signal Studio may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised.

Continued use of Xenos after changes to this Privacy Policy means you accept the updated policy.
